Jeremy defence speech for all...

My photo from my attendance in a packed hall in Jeremy's leadership campaign

You can read all the speech from today in Chatham house on this press release link from the Labour Party http://press.labour.org.uk/post/160582006344/jeremy-corbyn-speech-at-chatham-house

all of which impresses me... and when you read it those that do not vote for him need to look in their hearts at why they are against this amazing set of pledges with compassion for all mankind at its core.

Some highlights for you:

The introduction sets the over all goal
how a Labour Government I lead will keep Britain safe, reshape relationships with partners around the world, work to strengthen the United Nations and respond to the global challenges we face in the 21stcentury.
Yes we need to be fully alert on the purpose of the opposition to peace, as this is the ideal so why do some seem to be against peacemakers and peacekeepers??
Too much of our debate about defence and security is one dimensional. You are either for or against what is presented as “strong defence”, regardless of the actual record of what that has meant in practice.Alert citizens or political leaders who advocate other routes to security are dismissed or treated as unreliable.
Yes I am part of that generation an struggle with this and has a 1954 baby have grown up seeing repeated failings of leaders and men to take to war and use horrendous weapons....how innocent civilians have become targets.  All in the backdrop of hearing the horrors of WW2 which should have taught us all to keep peace and learn from that time of utter evil.
My generation grew up under the shadow of the cold war. On television, through the 1960s and into the seventies, the news was dominated by Vietnam. I was haunted by images of civilians fleeing chemical weapons used by the United States.
I didn’t imagine then that nearly fifty years later we would see chemical weapons still being used against innocent civilians. What an abject failure. How is it that history keeps repeating itself?
Regime is the key to this next highlight.. regimes that are selfish, despotic and oppressive not respectful of all citizens.... and has had outside interference that had not problem solved but made matters worse.
Today the world is more unstable than even at the height of the cold war. The approach to international security we have been using since the 1990s has simply not worked.Regime change wars in Afghanistan Iraq, Libya, and Syria – and Western interventions in Afghanistan, Somalia and Yemen - have failed in their own terms, and made the world a more dangerous place.
This time frame shows the failings of man not to learn to evolve out of conflicts.
This is the fourth General Election in a row to be held while Britain is at war and our armed forces are in action in the Middle East and beyond.
The fact is that the ‘war on terror’ which has driven these interventions has failed.
They have not increased our security at home – just the opposite.
And they have caused destabilisation and devastation abroad.
THIS IS A DANGEROUS IMBALANCE we must restore balance in the world.
The world faces huge problems. As well as the legacy of regime change wars, there is a dangerous cocktail of ethnic conflicts, of food insecurity, water scarcity, the emerging effects of climate change.
Add to that mix a grotesque and growing level of inequality in which just eight billionaires own the same wealth as the 3.6 billion poorest people.
 MY RESPONSE IN FULL:
as mother a grandmother and a midwife that had safely seen new life in the world THANK YOU FOR THIS SPEECH ... and thank you for our grandchildren and great grandchildren....... now we need the voters to see the sense of this and make sure our future generations grow up in peace and are proud to look back on this time in history where humans finally grew up out of our stupidity.... for you are so right the way things are heading we could all have no future to be able to look back on our past..... Like Ben Ferencz the Nuremberg prosecutor so well put in his interview with BBC hardtalk .... it is the ultimate of man's stupidity to not learn from his mistakes over the centuries ... and continue conflict behaviour that could make us all lose everything...... THANK YOU FOR THE PROMISE for justice in Syria for all the war crimes... we must see the door of the ICC open justice and reparation to all those that have had their lives broken by the selfish stupidity of the despotic Doctor Death Assad and his family regime....!! and sadly all those that have entered the killing frenzy where Article 51 has been violated in the most gross and horrific way......so many criminals to prosecute and with stacks upon stacks of evidence to prove beyond any reasonable doubt.... Shukran thank you and in French so apt the word for thank you = Merci .

Foreign really??

Everything is Foreign ‪by Karrie Fransman, commissioned for the International Literature Showcase's 'Crossing Borders' series‬, Writers' Centre Norwich

My thoughts on this: But nothing is foreign if we drop our borders and be a Global family on this one home PLANET EARTH..... we are afterall one species Homo Sapiens but our downfall is our thinking brain and the miss use of the intelligence evolved... an intelligence that is so stupid to make the same mistakes over and over again over the centuries.....Mistakes driven by greed selfish deluded power drunk few that want to oppress and control the many.....!! Deluded...!!

Challenge to election to deliver on this

I would also had we need to cease assets of Assad in UK! It is somewhat of an irony that we have London Boroughs feeling they cannot take in Syrian refugees as they have no funds or space, yet Dr Death Assad owns a lot of expensive property around London!!!!

Seems Spain ahead on this just found this reference too.

We invite candidates to consider these pledges to protect civilians and bring peace to Syria.
Please print the list and ask your local candidates to sign up to them.
AN ELECTION MANIFESTO ON SYRIA
The international community has failed to protect civilians in Syria.
The Syrian conflict is still ongoing after more than six years. We have witnessed the gassing of children; the deliberate targeting of hospitals, schools, markets, and bakeries; the starvation sieges of civilian communities; the forced displacement of entire towns; and the drowning of refugees at sea.
If elected MP, I pledge to:
 1. Affirm the democratic right of Syrians to choose their own future free from dictatorship and terror.
 2. Call for the UK to track and publish details of military aircraft flights by the Assad regime and Russia that may be responsible for unlawful attacks on civilians.
 3. Call for drone aid airdrops to besieged civilians to provide immediate relief and add pressure for full ground access.
 4. Call for the UK to help enforce an end to attacks against civilian targets by the Assad regime and its allies.
 5. Call for widened sanctions against the Assad regime and its supporters for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
 6. Call for the UK to pursue all avenues to bring perpetrators of war crimes and crimes against humanity to justice, including through universal jurisdiction as well as international legal mechanisms.
 7. Call for the UK to pursue a ‘Uniting for Peace’ vote in the UN General assembly recommending action to protect civilians.
 8. Demand the highest standards of accountability of all our Coalition partners for air strikes taking place in Syria.

Collateral Damage 352!

Photo: Colours and art of Syria could not face putting death and destruction on post.
(CNN)Coalition strikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria have likely killed at least 352 civilians since the start of the operation almost three years ago, the US military said Sunday.

Well isn't it time we evolved from using sledgehammer attacks on problem gangs..... you would not bomb the whole of Italy to get the mafia would you......??? better to use intelligent use of intelligence and there is so much to lead you to the criminal goons that call themselves isis.... for arrests to interrogate as to who is really behind them ... They are satanic saddstics nothing to do with the merciful selfless love of Allah ....So many of the civilians fell to their oppression and have evidence to help prosecute whoever these sadistic goons are.....many of the criminals bragging on iphone footage and show their faces..... or give away the location with clear landmarks......or covert films taken by civilians at great risk to their lives...... but no you go in with sledgehammer airstrikes with the "collateral damage" and you use depleted uranium so now we have refugees with weird cancers and tumours from the radius of airborne radioactivity from the thermogenic explosions..... TIME we all grew up and policed rather than knock the hell out of one another... TIME to listen to Ben the Nuremberg prosecutor on the stupidity of man with weapons.

Can we all remember Article 51 Geneva Convention and can we all remember ignoring of this leads to the death and broken lives of INNOCENT civilians which includes kids and babies.... and in some attacks pregnant mothers not even given the chance to bring life in the world.

Mothers of the World we need to shout together "BAS! ENOUGH! we do not birth our children to be robbed of their future.... because man is not adult enough to get round peace tables.  Because adults are not strong enough to live in peace and not give in to foolish deluded evil desires to oppress another and kill another!!"  The true Greater Jihad - is this the journey within self to rid self of self....be egoless and one with the Divine Creators LOVE for us All. With this live in merciful respectful PEACE with one another on this one Earthly home.

Mal policies and Frontline effect

"Theresa May has been condemned for refusing to accept the government’s public sector pay freeze could be responsible for reports that nurses are having to use food banks.
The prime minister was repeatedly challenged this morning by the BBC’s Andrew Marr over Royal College of Nursing figures that show some nurses have had a 14% pay cut since 2010 and are having to resort to using food banks in order to eat."
Source:  http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/theresa-may-refuses-to-accept-government-responsible-for-nurses-using-food-banks_uk_5905bfd2e4b02655f83e217d

Mrs May also was insistent she did believe in the welfare state but continued to say that the best way out of poverty is to work.  Yet many are put in work that is basic minimum wage and does not shift them out of poverty. Or the work offered is on Zero hour contracts that give instability of earning power. Clearly we have a problem if professionals working hard in nursing shifts -often working through shifts with no breaks and getting off late are then found to need foodbanks to survive? There are those that feel hassled into work when deemed unfit for work by GP yet independent private contractor assessors are refuting the GPs and patients illness. I have seen in the local jobcentre folk on crutches neck braces and in obvious pain asked to seek work... even a chap with Alzheimer's asked to look for work... and we have over 60s that have worked hard all their life and are knackered with the work they have put in over the years, FORBIDDEN their State Pension because of discrimination on birth year.... yet in working time have actually given free hours to organisations by working through breaks and off late out of dedication to work...... This is where it hurts that she will not see this ..... and when folk assessed by their GP and considered UNFIT for work WHY with in 2 days of submitting a sick note does the DWP send a work capability form..... surely the sick can get some peace to respond to treatments to heal, so be well enough to get back to work... ?? the DWP hassle actually creates more stress and worsening of condition. Cancer patients to 2015 survivorship report told to return to work as the survivorship can no longer be funded by Welfare.... Some can only operate for a few hours a day for personal needs never mind go out to work.... and still on long term medication .... so this is where is hurts the C missing from Conservatives is Compassion.......

I have always been proud to pay tax since my first job in 1969 into a system that had compassion at its core. An NHS to give care free at the point of access - though not free as paid for by tax and NI contributions, but I remember my mother saying of the stress of not being able to afford the doctor to come to family members in the early 1900s - surely we became a mature caring society to have the NHS... and I have been proud to pay tax for welfare to help others in need and for the time I am in need of help... BUT I AM ASHAMED OF THE LACK OF CARE AND CUTS IN SERVICES AND WELFARE FOR THOSE IN NEED NOW.... I must remind Mrs May that it was a very wise politician that put the Welfare State in place to harmonise and care for society at a time when as now the rich were getting richer and the poor getting poorer.  ... it is a very FOOLISH ONE to dismantle it ...... we all pay tax in some shape of form so could the PM give us a full account sheet of where it goes...? and I mean a full audit...... no good saying we put this million in this and that without a audit and measure of outcome. it is more than signing of cheques for seen problems and thinking problem solved we need transparency on where the money is going..... as folk on the frontline are suffering and we are NOT GOING TO VOTE for MORE PAIN... we all have the right to FINANCIAL DIGNITY.........A society without compassion ceases to be a society!

WE must also think that tax money circulates... tax paid for NHS pays health professionals and managers and ancillary staff.... they pay tax out of their wages back to the treasury.
Tax paid for Welfare pays for the DWP staff who pay tax so circulates back to the treasury.  People on benefits pay tax on VAT goods & fuel, they try to purchase with their by law poverty allowance of £73.10 a week out of which they pay housing cap and council tax, food be it minimal food and attempt to get clothing?

Mrs May's designer kitten shoes cost more than 2 weeks benefits if not a month on some of the shoes we see. Somewhat insensitive it is not mandatory to have designer this and that for PMs - unless a deal is struck with designers and profit goes to charity. Or go to promote British goods with a charity pay of commission on orders generated to those in need.

On the subject of charity there are many that volunteer to help fill the gap in services through charity organisations.  They are hardworking but are not offered paid contracts as the charity will only have limited funds for paid posts.  So some of the volunteers may be on benefits..... could the Prime Minister acknowledge this situation and those doing good work with volunteer work be recognised with some funding to keep them out of debt and poverty hardship....

It is complex on the frontline and a good leader listens to the frontline to make their decisions for the whole of the troops to be safe & protected from no harm.

Thank Goodness for Corbyn and his style of true leadership where the people are listened too and are the power he wishes to drive for the benefit of the many not the few
Strong stable leadership needs this quality!

Plea from the Heart of Syria

Please scroll down to the bottom of the blog page to see this film it is a plea from a fathers heart in Syria.  Found in my facebook newsfeed this morning but I cannot seem to embed the html in this post..... Put have been able to put in add gadget html ........ WE NEED TO HEAR THIS PLEA FROM THE HEART OF SYRIA.... and yes if we do not listen and act upon this then Assad has robbed us our virtue and our humanity.... Please watch and see if you can share too...

Most of all time for this pain and suffering and downright evil of what a monster can do to the people is STOPPED.. and justice brought for all the lost and broken lives.....

Assad and Putin and all that think sledgehammer airstrikes and chemical warfare and ignoring the rule of Geneva convention is acceptable WELL IT IS NOT and SHOWS WEAK MINDED PATHETIC HUMAN BEINGS THAT CANNOT FIND STRENGTH IN PEACE.

AND THE BLACK CLAD CRIMINALS NEED TO BE CAUGHT TO FOR ALL THEIR EVIL AND CAUGHT NOT EXTERMINATED - WE NEED TO KNOW WHO IS BEHIND THEM AND ALL THEY DO....

Seems like a lot of hidden agendas in this world???!!

Time man grew up and evolved stopped stupidity in deluded egos that think they have power over others.  There is only one power the Universal Power over All... with the constant message to be a Global Family care for one another and respect one another and this amazing one home Planet Earth. A planet we are all chosen to live on by the fact we are born and live and breathe......we all have the right to that life with peace and dignity.

So come on mankind grow up and put KIND into manKIND and see what wonders we can do together....in peace...!

By Philip Pullella | ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANEPope Francis said on Saturday a third country, such as Norway, should try to mediate the dispute between North Korea and Washington, to cool a situation that had become "too hot" and posed the risk of nuclear devastation.
Francis said he believed "a good part of humanity" would be destroyed in any widespread war.
